Dragons... Legendary beasts of good and evil told in countless stories. Huge winged fire breathing monsters with the strength of gods and the power of sorcerers. Feared by everyone, the dragons roamed freely causing massive destruction and chaos wherever they went.

The Legend

One thousand years ago, dragons ruled the world known as Light World. They reigned over the land destroying everything in their paths. They couldn't be stopped. The beasts came out of a portal on an island floating in the sky. The people of the Light World named this portal the Dragon Gate. Not only did this gateway into the unknown feed new dragons into the world all the time, but it also released monsters of all kinds to roam the land and cause even more destruction. The dragons reigned the Light World for years, but one day, one by one, they returned through the Dragon Gate as if they were being called back home. When the last dragon returned, the surviving magic wielders of the Light world gathered around and formed a magic barrier over the Dragon Gate so that nothing could ever return...

One thousand years later

One thousand years have passed and the Light World was at its most prosperous state ever. Life replenished itself and the world was fully rebuilt. However, even with all the prosperity, magic has also become stronger among the people. Most people used the ancient gift to heal the sick and cure the wounded, but there are also those who abuse the power, and that abuse will cause the Light World a terrible fate.

Your Role

You play the role of a soldier of First Castle. You are the kingdom's best soldier and you have been called for a mission. The king's royal crown has been stolen over the night and you must find it. After venturing north to a ruined castle, you find a monster that has the crown but refuses to give it up. After you defeat the monster and retrieve the crown, you learn that it was taken by Gradles, a servant of the castle. Upon returning to First, you see Gradles fighting with the king. Gradles runs away and the king tells you that Gradles is also a sorcerer. He is a person greedy for power and he is looking to release the dragons. Your new mission is to stop him...
